Burial Options

A variety of lot sizes are available to accommodate the diverse needs of residents, including single grave lots, companion lots and estate lots with four or eight graves or more. The cemetery features memorials placed at lawn level made of enduring bronze. Skilled cemetery maintenance staff will care for all memorials. A designated area within the cemetery will permit upright monuments of granite.

Burial spaces are located in five garden areas including the Garden of Hope, Garden of Peace, Garden of Serenity, Garden of Honor and Heritage Garden.

Bronze vases, granite benches and memorial trees are available as memorials to your loved ones.

The Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens’ Mausoleum is a magnificent edifice of stone which complements the adjacent pond and beautiful cemetery grounds.

Mausoleum Chapel
The facility includes a chapel area under a canopy for memorial services and committal services. Seating can be provided.

The Crypts
The mausoleum contains crypts for above ground burial. The crypt is clean and dry, away from the elements of the earth. The casketed remains are sealed in the crypt and a granite veneer stone serves as the memorial. The inscription for your loved one will be engraved into the granite.

Columbarium Niches
For those who select cremation, niche spaces for the permanent placement of the cremated remains are available in the mausoleum and in the Pavilion overlooking the beautiful pond. The niche space features a granite veneer stone to be engraved as the memorial.

A gazebo overlooking the Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens’ pond and water feature houses an additional 64 columbarium niches. The gazebo has a spacious, open feel with great views of the cemetery’s beautiful landscaping and pond.

Cemetery Etiquette

A cemetery is a unique place. While it is part of the everyday scene, it is not part of everyday life. That is to say, it is a place where tranquility and quiet are the desired norm, and activities of everyday life should be suspended. We thank you for your cooperation.
